Say hello and introduce yourself

Hello, My name is Mariusz, I'm from Wrocław, Poland. I'm new in Wordpress and PHP development, but I have backgroud with front end (html, css, js) and also with programming with Python.

Few months ago I found UIkit framework and I loved it. When I found Beans I was very excited. Now after two weeks I have to say that it's great and I started to love it too 🙂

popping in from the Netherlands here, on an ongoing quest for a modern and innovative Wordpress theme / codebase, useful in these days of schema.org, json-ld and many more signs of changing times in this virtual world.

As strange as this may sound, I'm a proverbial Wordpress virgin. I've dabbled in code, understand enough to translate perspectives between code, design, budget and use - but for me it often is less about the road, and more about what folks are (or will be) doing on the horizon. I did some stints for Google, been a part of some other tech ventures, but in spite of modern technology for some strange reason I find my best moments out in the woods.

Beans is the first useful bit of genius I have found while on that quest for something other than what's currently out there, where the demo - out of the box - popped up properly for both semantic and microdata inspection. Which is a pleasant exception to the rule these days.

Chances are you'll see dumb questions from me 🙂

I, Anupam, am a 17 year old web developer, entrepreneur, digital marketer and a blogger.

I, being very passionate about Wordpress, I spend most of my time coding and web designing.

A fun loving guy and I love to spend time with my puppy( well i'm a huge dog lover 😉 ) in my free time. Also I play football, do crazy stuffs, curious to learn new things. But to be honest, you will rarely see me doing any of these stuffs, cuz most of the time you'll find me sitting with my laptop developing new themes, working for my clients. Yes, I am a total workaholic.

This is Yuna - a budding WordPress developer :-).

I've set up a bunch of WordPress-based sites for my friends and family, and recently people started actually even paying me for it.

It's amazing !!!

I've customized child themes before and then realized that I needed some more robust platform, from which I could do those customizations more efficiently. I've looked at several WP frameworks and themes, and then I found Beans.

I can't believe how far ahead this framework is, compared to just about anything I've seen. Everyone seems to be talking about Bootstrap, Foundation and Genesis. So I bumped into the Beans framework by sheer accident.

I know that Beans hasn't Bean around ( pun intended 🙂 ) for very long, but UIkit seems to be just about equally unknown at large, even though UIkit has been around for quite a while, as I understand.

I think that Beans may become one of those big, no - BEEEG ! new developments in the WP world. If only it were made just a tiny - teeny bit more approachable, and with a few more video tutorials than I could currently find about it, I think sky would be the limit.

Anyhoo, I know it's gonna be a bumpy ride, but I really want to learn how to use this framework.

So I plan to ask a lot of silly questions on this forum 😉

My name is Jonathan. I live in Colorado, USA and work from home as a web designer/developer.

I'm new to Beans and trying to learn. I've got a tiny little project I'm using it for to start. I'm impressed though, after one plus days, finding the learning curve a bit steep.

Other than websites, I spend my time re-building our house, playing with the dogs, and doing Aikido. My wife and I have chickens and garden that is almost a farm, where we get most of our food.

So, I wanted to find out a stable, light plattform to build better sites upon. On my - almost - neverending quest for the ultimate framework (as I tested so many of them), I happened to discover Beans. I think creating with beans is a great step for me, as I am not proficient in any programming language. I hope you understand my struggle sometimes...

Apart from work, I love to spend time with my lovely five years old daughter, and enjoying the beach, the hills and everything else around my town - Cascais.

I'm Junix. I'm from the Philippines, in the beatiful island of Cebu, and I work full time home-based using WordPress and WooCommerce.

I've been into WordPress since 2009, but haven't really made a public profile yet. I've started blogging again at junixblog.com, and am planning to share some tutorials for WordPress, WooCommerce and maybe beans as well (still starting to read the docs though). I happened to discover beans from a post in the Facebook AWP group a while back.

I've done checking out the Action and HTML API and I'm really digging the whole idea for it. I'm currently planning on creating themes and plugins for beans.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kid, playing PC games and watching anime/tv shows.
