I am new to using frameworks, and have installed Beans and am going through customizing the child starter theme. In my previous setup, I did not have comments allowed for Page posts. Now with the child starter theme installed, my Page posts are showing the "Add a Comment" section. How can I remove this from all page posts? For example I have an About Page which I do not want to allow comments on.

By default, comments are enabled for Posts and Pages in Beans but it may vary from theme to themes. Here is the snippet you are looking for to disable comments for Pages.
